Padma Kumar - Founder, Partner and Director
Padma Kumar is a first generation entrepreneur and seasoned childcare professional. She is passionate about high quality early childhood care and education for every child. She believes that every child is an asset of the nation and by providing the best care and learning to every child from early childhood, not only does the family and immediate community of the child reap the rewards; the entire nation reaps the reward of nurturing a responsible citizen.
She founded Grandma & Grandpa’s International Early Years Learning Centre (G&G ELC), in Chennai in 2008. Having a sound understanding of the child care best practices of the United Kingdom and the requirement of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) of India, she established her institution to offer the best of international standards with Indian values. Padma’s expertise is in designing learning environments that enable children to learn and grow. Her expertise is also in designing and implementing age-appropriate, fun early years and after school programs for children from birth to 14 years.
Padma feels very strongly about women empowerment and women’s contribution to the workplace. By offering exemplary care and a learning environment to the children, which in turn offers peace of mind to families, she has given several women the choice to remain in the workforce.
Vijayraghavan SV - Partner
Vijayaraghavan is a Chartered Accountant and MBA from IIM, Bangalore. He has over 25 years of experience in Finance, Accounting and Corporate Laws. During his corporate career spanning 22 plus years, he has held CFO position for more than 15 years in varied industries such as Electronics Hardware, Financial Services, Software Services and Software Product Companies. He is also a Visiting Faculty in prestigious Business Schools handling courses for students specialisation in Finance stream.
Ravi Kumar
Ravi Kumar is an experienced UK Public Company Director/Entrepreneur with startup to stock market listing journey with a demonstrated history of working in healthcare and technology industry across the globe. Ravi brings a strong combination of entrepreneurship, investment and nurturing skills to build successful ventures. Ravi is passionate about childcare and a strong believer in the role of structured early childhood care and education (ECCE) in the holistic development of a child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs in order to build a solid and broad foundation for lifelong learning and wellbeing.
Ravi serves on the boards of number of start-ups and scaleups. Ravi is also the co-chair of British Business Group (BBG) in South India. BBG is an industry body that promotes the UK, India trade corridor. Ravi is a Trustee at Laurus Trust, based in Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. Laurus Trust is a rapidly expanding multi-academy trust operating eight schools in the Greater Manchester region with a reputation for outstanding teaching and learning.
M.S Ezhil
Mr.M.Ezhil, is a qualified Chartered Accountant in practice since 1987. A graduate in commerce from the prestigious Loyola College in Chennai, he passed the Chartered Accountancy Examinations, both Intermediate and Final, in his first attempt. He has also passed the final examination of Institute of Cost and Works Accountants (presently Institute of Cost Accountants of India), in 1988.
He is an avid reader, who maintains his own blog regularly posts articles in Linkedin. His articles have been published in newspapers and online portals. He has also been a mentor providing guidance and career direction to youth and has trained and placed more than 500 youngsters in businesses across India and abroad. He has been instrumental in setting up a Technical Training Institute in Nungambakkam Chennai for training engineering graduates to become software professionals with the right skills, attitude and aptitude. The Institute also offers training for college students to ace competitive examinations. A key aspect of the training is the significantly high level of full scholarships to meritorious and deserving candidates.
Mr.Ezhil has been very active in community related interventions as an active office bearer in multiple charitable organizations. He has been the Hony. General Secretary of the National Association for the Blind, Tamilnadu State Branch for nearly a decade now and was instrumental in setting up the first and largest Inclusive Education Centre for the visually impaired in a English Medium School in Tamilnadu at Sethu Bhaskara Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Ambattur. He is also the Hony. Treasurer of Seva Samajam Girls Home ( a Model Home for girl children) and Mary Clubwala Jadhav Girls High School (a model among aided schools in terms of wide range of initiatives). Both these institutions are a part of the Guild of Service, a leading social welfare organization in Chennai.
Ravan Boddu
Ravan, with over 30 years of international experience in technology and management, is an entrepreneur, investor and mentor. While Ravan comes from a technology background, he has a deep passion for education and strongly believes that technology combined with right teaching methodology will transform children from a very young age. Ravan is a director of an Education Trust in Bangalore and is the Chairman of an EdTech company that embarked on delivering adaptive learning solutions.
He is the CEO & Co-founder of ZANEC Technologies that offers R&D As a Service to startups. Ravan is also a co-promoter and director of an investment company, RaRa Ventures based in Singapore and serves on the board of CyberLiver, e-Cargoware, My Digital Accounts and TRANZO Digital Solutions. Prior to this, Ravan worked for companies like KPMG, Dell, WorldCom in the UK and US and moved back to India in 2000 to start iSOFT R&D center that grew from startup to over 1600 engineers.
Ravan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from NIT, Allahabad and a Masters in Technology from Osmania University, Hyderabad.
